Data Governance Manager

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end delivery of HDFC Bank's data governance programs — across data governance, MDM, and data quality workstreams. Manage timelines, dependencies, vendor coordination, and stakeholder alignment for large-scale banking initiatives spanning cloud and on-prem environments.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of program/project management experience in banking or BFSI
• Hands-on PM experience delivering Data Governance, MDM, and Data Quality projects
• Strong understanding of cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and data platform delivery
• Stakeholder management across business, technology, risk, and compliance teams
• Risk, issue, and dependency tracking; release & change management
• Tooling: Jira, MS Project, Confluence
• PMP / Prince2 / SAFe Agile certification preferred

Nice-to-Have

• Prior delivery experience with HDFC Bank or top-tier Indian private banks
• Familiarity with RBI data governance circulars and DPDPA
• Exposure to Collibra, Informatica Axon/EDC, Alation, or Atlan rollouts
• Vendor and SI management experience
