Data Engineering Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineering Lead to spearhead data architecture and pipeline development initiatives across enterprise-scale platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake, cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), and a strong background in designing secure and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale data warehouse, data lake, and data mart solutions
• Architect and develop secure and optimized data ingestion pipelines in Snowflake
• Drive adoption of Snowflake RBAC and data security best practices
• Stay updated and incorporate latest Snowflake features into system design
• Mentor and lead a team of data engineers and developers
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python or PySpark
• Oversee integration with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Secrets Manager, DMS)
• Leverage Azure components like Blob Storage, ADLS, and ADF for cross-cloud capabilities
• Manage orchestration and workflow automation with tools like Apache Airflow
• Establish and enforce coding standards, data quality checks, and performance tuning
