Job Description:

• We are in search of a talented individual with a background in Product Teardown Should Costing, VAVE benchmarking, and cost optimization efforts specifically for electromechanical components within the automotive or energy sectors.
• This position requires collaborative engagement across various functions to enhance product value and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Product Teardown Should Cost analysis for automotive and energy equipment, including tool dies and mold costing.
• Facilitate VAVE workshops aimed at uncovering cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with design teams, sourcing, and suppliers to achieve optimal product costing.
• Assist in new product development by providing early cost estimates.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and manufacturing processes to ensure accurate cost validation.
• Implement strategies for supply chain cost reduction and localization.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in cost engineering, ideally in automotive, medical, or energy industries.
• Deep understanding of electromechanical systems and various manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience in costing mechanical parts and assemblies, including stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining, and secondary finishing processes.
• Familiarity with VAVE cost modeling tools and supplier negotiation techniques.
• Experience with commercial off-the-shelf tools such as Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER, etc.
