About the role
- U.S. stocks report, one of our most-read stories globally, covering moves in the shares of U.S. corporate giants from Apple to Tesla and data or news-driven shifts in the S&P, Dow Jones and Nasdaq indexes;
- Emerging Market reports covering a sweep of currency, bond and stock markets in developing economies across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa;
- European and UK equities reports;
- The U.S.-focused stories that make up our popular Stocks Buzz service;
- Quick-hit takeouts on major shifts in stock market sentiment and particular shares
About you-
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience into market research and journalism
- The ideal candidate must be an ambitious correspondent with the skills to build relationships at some of the worlds biggest financial companies.
- They will cover everything from unexplained stock market surges to the impact of rising inflation on U.S. Treasuries - stories that will appear on the Front Page of Workspace and reuters.com.
- The ideal candidate will be expected to work hand-in-hand with the markets team and editors globally as we'll as colleagues across the newsroom in Bengaluru, covering global stories.
