Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- File all shipments eligible for money-back guarantees based on exception reporting, tracking approved, denied, and paid claims.
- Handle all claims filing with third-party shipping companies, identifying qualifying shipments, submitting claims, and tracking payment status.
- Track customer emergency deliveries (hot shots) and create billing for eligible cases as per PVA guidelines.
- Manage shipment exceptions, monitor status, and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Process invoices for payment and ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor and analyze transportation KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly) to track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with carriers and Transportation Managers to enhance performance, documented via carrier scorecards.
- Acquire and analyze data from enterprise systems such as WMS, SAP, TMS, PKMS, and IBS.
- Evaluate freight lane characteristics to ensure the most cost-effective carriers are used for final delivery.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, safety regulations, and audit requirements.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible, directly related experience.
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry preferred; experience with small package and LTL logistics is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills across all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred.
- Knowledge of ABC policies, programs, services, and products.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
