Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis 1 specializing in Continental Cuisine to join our culinary team in Mysuru, India.
  • As a Commis 1, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and contributing to the creation of exceptional continental dishes.
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of continental cuisine dishes under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate food ingredients and supplies
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper use and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food service
  • Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes
  • Participate in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Follow recipes and cooking techniques as directed by senior chefs
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the kitchen
