Key Responsibilities

Mobile Automation Framework Development

• Design and implement scalable mobile automation frameworks using Appium and Espresso
• Automate testing for Android, iOS, and web applications
• Build reusable, maintainable frameworks using design patterns such as POM, Factory, and Singleton

API & Backend Testing

• Perform API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or equivalent tools
• Validate backend services and ensure end-to-end system integration
• Ensure robustness of APIs across application workflows

BDD Implementation & Test Design

• Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber and related frameworks
• Develop test scenarios aligned with business requirements
• Improve collaboration between QA, development, and product teams

CI/CD Integration & DevOps Alignment

• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
• Enable continuous testing in cloud and on-premise environments
• Ensure automation execution as part of Agile delivery pipelines

Database Testing & Validation

• Perform database testing using SQL, MySQL, and SQL Server
• Write and execute complex queries for backend validation
• Ensure data consistency across systems

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Work in Agile environments and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fast and high-quality delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA and automation processes

Tools & Test Management

• Use Atlassian tools such as Jira and Zephyr for test management and tracking
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and defect tracking
