Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Mobile Test Automation Framework Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks.
- Implement automation solutions for Android, iOS, and web mobile applications.
- Apply design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Factory, and Singleton.
Automation Execution & Development
- Develop automated test scripts using Appium and Espresso.
- Write automation code using Java and JavaScript.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and maintainability of test frameworks.
API & Backend Testing
- Perform API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Validate backend services and ensure integration reliability.
- Support database validation using SQL/MySQL queries.
BDD & Test Design
- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber or similar frameworks.
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with Agile user stories and requirements.
CI/CD Integration & DevOps Collaboration
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
- Ensure continuous testing in cloud-based environments.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to enable automated execution pipelines.
Tools & Test Management
- Work with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and Zephyr.
- Track test execution, defects, and reporting metrics.
- Maintain test documentation and execution reports.
Mobile Testing & Platform Expertise
- Perform automation testing for mobile applications using Appium and Android Studio.
- Work with cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
- Ensure cross-device and cross-platform compatibility.
Agile Delivery & Collaboration
- Work in Agile development environments and participate in sprint ceremonies.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams.
- Support fast-paced delivery models and iterative releases.
