Consultant Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation & Requirement Analysis:
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and project goals.
• Analyze project specifications, functional requirements, and environmental considerations.
• Provide expert advice on the design, materials, and technology suitable for each project.
• Architectural Design & Planning:
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed architectural designs.
• Create 2D and 3D architectural models, sketches, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
• Work on space planning, material selection, and aesthetic design solutions.
• Project Management:
• Lead the development of architectural plans from concept to construction.
• Monitor progress to ensure designs are being implemented correctly.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and construction teams to resolve any technical issues.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, and resources for project delivery.
• Sustainability & Innovation:
• Incorporate sustainable design principles into projects (energy-efficient designs, eco-friendly materials, etc.).
• Explore new technologies, innovative construction methods, and materials to improve design and build quality.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure that architectural designs meet all legal, environmental, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of construction and adherence to design specifications.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication:
• Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Gather feedback and modify designs based on client input and regulatory constraints.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare and submit necessary reports, specifications, and documentation for approvals.
• Maintain proper records of design iterations, decisions, and project developments.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior architects and interns.
• Facilitate team meetings and review design progress with stakeholders.
