Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a support engineer to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in critical business systems
• Manage end-to-end IT asset lifecycle including procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement
• Maintain accurate configuration management databases (CMDB) and ensure data integrity
• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and organizational policies
• Perform Software Asset Management (SAM) activities including license tracking and optimization
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate asset and compliance reports
• Coordinate with procurement, infrastructure, and IT teams for asset-related activities
• Manage hardware and software inventory reconciliation and reporting
• Support configuration management processes including deployment and change tracking
• Work with tools such as Microsoft SCCM or similar asset/configuration management systems
• Analyze asset usage to identify cost optimization opportunities
• Assist in contract management and vendor coordination for IT assets
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-based configuration and asset management processes
