Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Concept Development:
- Ideate and develop concepts for radio shows, segments, promos, and marketing campaigns.
- Translate briefs into original, audience-relevant ideas and scripts.
- Collaborate with RJs, producers, sound designers, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life.
Scriptwriting & Storytelling:
- Write compelling scripts for daily radio content, station imaging, show promos, and branded content.
- Ensure content is fresh, engaging, and aligned with station branding and listener demographics.
- Maintain a consistent storytelling tone that resonates with the target audience.
Brand & Client Campaigns:
- Conceptualize creative solutions for client briefs, including branded content, integrations, and on-air contests.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to pitch and execute client-driven ideas.
- Adapt brand messaging to the radio medium in a way that is both entertaining and effective.
Innovation & Research:
- Stay updated on radio and digital audio trends, pop culture, and audience preferences.
- Regularly brainstorm new formats, content strategies, and listener engagement ideas.
- Experiment with audio storytelling techniques, voice, sound, and format.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong creative thinking and ideation skills.
- Excellent command of language (English/Hindi/Regional, as per station).
- Scriptwriting expertise, especially for audio.
- Understanding of radio audience behavior and programming.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in radio, advertising, or audio content creation (can vary based on role level).
- Portfolio of creative work (scripts, audio links, campaign samples) is often required.
