Cloud Deployment Specialist/ Redhat

Roles & Responsibilities

OpenShift & Container Platform Management

• Build and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x in datacenter environments.
• Handle application onboarding, resource management, upgrades, and patching of OpenShift clusters.
• Work with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized application deployment and orchestration.

Linux Administration & System Operations

• Perform Red Hat Linux administration, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and security across environments.

Infrastructure Automation & IaC

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Support configuration management and deployment automation workflows.

Application Deployment & Management

• Deploy applications using Helm charts.
• Manage application lifecycle on OpenShift platform.
• Ensure smooth integration of applications into container platforms.

Monitoring & Performance Management

• Implement and maintain monitoring using Prometheus and related tools.
• Perform performance tuning, resource scaling, and system optimization.

Networking & Load Balancing

• Work with load balancer technologies such as Nginx, HAProxy, and F5.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues and ensure connectivity across systems.
• Apply CCNA-level networking knowledge for infrastructure support.

DevOps & Version Control

• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Support DevOps practices across infrastructure and application environments.
