Your Role And Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and refine backend applications according to business specifications.
• Oversee and maintain applications within a cloud-native environment utilizing Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Utilize GitHub for source code management; conduct code reviews to ensure the code is current, compliant, high quality, and free of vulnerabilities.
• Adhere to Agile methodologies in your work.
• Foster knowledge sharing and contribute to the professional development and upskilling of team members.
• Exhibit strong communication skills while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 5 years of practical development experience in C/C++ is essential.
• Proficient in C and C++ programming, encompassing debugging, performance tuning, memory management, and multithreaded application creation.
• Experience with Linux-based C/C++ applications, build systems, and toolchains is required.
• Familiarity with contemporary C++ standards and development methodologies.
• Experience in modernizing or integrating legacy C/C++ applications within cloud-native and containerized frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and enhance high-performance C/C++ applications in live environments.
• Proficient in Kubernetes or OpenShift, along with experience in Docker/Podman and public cloud platforms.
• Sound understanding of Container Networking Interface (CNI) and container-native storage principles.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud.
• Practical experience with Ansible and Shell scripting.
• Competent in Linux system management.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform.
• Capability to design and manage a DevOps application lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including hands-on experience with writing and debugging Jenkinsfiles.
• Knowledge of Generative AI systems, including:
• LLM inferencing and model serving, including practical experience with vLLM
• Integrating GenAI/LLM inferencing into backend services and APIs
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
• Understanding of performance, scalability, GPU utilization, and cost considerations for AI workloads in production

• Full stack development experience with Go and Python is advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and cloud service providers.
• In-depth knowledge of Generative AI and inferencing, including:
• Serving LLMs using vLLM in cloud-native settings
• Scaling and managing inference workloads on Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Integrating GenAI functionalities into enterprise applications
• Ability to swiftly grasp new domains and technologies as business requirements evolve.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
