Civil Projects Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of civil engineers and provide daily updates to the central projects team
• Coordinate with cross-functional business teams for timely execution of civil works for new store openings
• Validate site measurements, layouts, and review technical drawings and specifications
• Review, verify, and approve work orders, bills, and invoices
• Prequalify vendors and subcontractors based on technical expertise, financial health, and compliance standards
• Prepare and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Approve purchase orders and ensure timely payments to suppliers
• Manage and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships
• Maintain an asset register and handle approval processes for project assets
• Supervise and monitor civil work progress against project timelines and schedules
• Train new vendors on company policies, quality benchmarks, and operational workflows
• Ensure civil work completion within defined timelines and in line with quality standards
• Draft and enforce contractual agreements, including payment terms and dispute resolution protocols
• Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and engineering departments
