CIS GCC Industry Principal

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and business units to establish business requirements, technology strategies, and roadmaps that support organizational goals and enhance competitive positioning
• Define and supervise the creation of IT vision, strategies, architectures, and standards to align with long-term organizational objectives and changing technology needs
• Assess enterprise-wide IT requirements and set direction for the acquisition, integration, and modernization of hardware, software, and infrastructure
• Develop and implement governance frameworks that shape IT policy, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide decision-making and operating models
• Oversee infrastructure production operations, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery activities to safeguard business continuity
• Lead IT operations to ensure service levels, performance metrics, and business objectives are consistently met
• Drive long-term IT resource planning, including budgeting, asset lifecycle management, and investment prioritization
• Direct internal teams and external vendors in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise technology infrastructure and services
• Provide leadership and oversight for high-impact strategic technology initiatives and enterprise programs
• Supervise subsidiary or aligned technology units, including leadership decisions, staffing, and major investment commitments
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, converting them into actionable insights and investment decisions
• Assess technology investments using cost-benefit and risk-reward frameworks to enable well-informed decision-making
• Partner with business and functional leaders to define IT requirements and ensure delivery of effective technology solutions
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and oversee evaluation processes, including technology RFPs and procurement decisions
• Report technology strategies, performance, and financial updates to executive leadership, board members, and risk or governance committees
