Chipset PE For PCIe based WIN Radio

General Summary:

Qualcomm is seeking a seasoned Engineering Lead with 18+ years of experience to drive the end-to-end definition, planning, and execution of Wi-Fi (WIN) Radio chipset programs. This leadership role spans hardware, test, and software domains and requires strategic oversight across the entire product lifecycle—from roadmap planning through productization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the WIN Radio chipset roadmap, including feature sets, feasibility studies, and customer requirement alignment
• Conduct cost analysis and optimizations for NRE, AUC, and RBOM
• Lead global engineering teams to execute PC1 and PC2 phases for all WIN Radio programs
• Develop reference design platforms to support sampling and deployment
• Conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure Qualcomm maintains industry-leading metrics in cost, features, and integration complexity
• Collaborate across architecture, DV, VI, PHY/system modeling, ATE/PTE test, and software teams to ensure successful silicon delivery
• Own the execution and risk management of cross-functional deliverables from design to productization
• Develop and enforce Wi-Fi-specific integration checklists to enhance delivery quality and ensure on-schedule execution
• Drive area reduction initiatives across design and physical design (PD) teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
• OR
• Master's degree with 7+ years experience
• OR
• PhD with 6+ years experience

Preferred Experience:

• 18+ years of proven experience in semiconductor hardware engineering and technical leadership
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi SoC development, system integration, performance modeling, and cost optimization
• Strong background in cross-domain coordination across hardware, software, and test engineering
• Demonstrated success in reference platform development and customer interaction during product definition and validation phases
