CDN Devops Engineer

Job Description:

Purpose of the role:

• As CDN DevOps Engineer, the person will be responsible for Design, implement, and maintain CDN solutions .
• The role requires expertise in Apache Traffic Control (ATC) / Apache Traffic Server (ATS), Linux, and scripting, with 3-5 years of experience:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Design, implement, and maintain CDN solutions using Apache Traffic Control (ATC) and Apache Traffic Server (ATS).
• Manage and optimize Linux-based servers and environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CDN solutions with other systems and applications.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• In this role, you will be successful, if you have:

Experience:

• Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science or related Engineering Specialization.
• Relevant hands-on experience in IT with significant focus on DevOps practices

Skills & Competencies:

Must Have:

• Proficiency in Apache Traffic Control (ATC) and Apache Traffic Server (ATS).
• Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus. § Knowledge of networking protocols and web technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. § Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Additional Notes § Certification in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD), Docker, or cloud platforms is desirable(AWS,AZURE, GCP)
