Cardiology Consultant

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Consult with patients to understand symptoms, provide diagnoses, and discuss treatment options. 
• Diagnostics: Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, CT scans, and MRIs, to assess cardiovascular health. 
• Treatment and Management: Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include prescribing medication, recommending lifestyle changes, and performing procedures or surgeries. 
• Collaboration: Work with other specialists, such as surgeons, dietitians, nurses, and referring physicians, to provide holistic patient care. 
• Education: Educate patients and their families on managing heart conditions and promoting cardiovascular health through diet and exercise. 
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) of patient appointments, tests, and treatments.
