Job Description – Camera Onboarding & Analytics Engineer

Role Objective

To make cameras live on JioSecure (VMS) and enable analytics on AIQ platform for stores.

Key Responsibilities

1. Camera Onboarding (JioSecure)

• Add cameras to JioSecure using IP/credentials
• Ensure live view and recording is working
• Check camera quality (clear image, proper angle)
• Tag camera as:
• Entry/Exit
• Store Floor
• POS
• Back Office

2. Analytics Enablement (AIQ)

• Pull cameras from JioSecure to AIQ
• Assign correct camera category
• Draw ROI (entry line, queue area, zones)
• Enable analytics like:
• People counting
• Queue detection
• Dwell time

3. Validation

• Do basic testing:
• Walk in/out → check counting
• Create queue → check detection
• Ensure analytics is working properly

4. Troubleshooting

• Fix issues like:
• Camera not coming live
• Poor video quality
• Analytics not working
• Coordinate with network / vendor teams

5. Reporting

• Update daily status:
• Cameras installed
• Live on JioSecure
• Live on AIQ

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of cameras
• Basic networking (IP, connectivity)

Experience

• 1–3 years in field operations / IT deployment

Success Metrics

• Cameras made live per day
• % cameras live on JioSecure
• % cameras live on AIQ
• Analytics working correctly
