Business Solutions Lead – Risk Management

Overview:

Drive the technology and automation strategy for Third-Party Risk Management and associated risk processes. You will be responsible for the roadmap and take charge of solutions from the initial discovery phase to implementation, collaborating with business executives, architects, and technology teams to streamline processes, enhance controls, and produce quantifiable business benefits. This position offers a chance to influence a strategic business capability, shape the application of technology across Risk and Business Integrity, and facilitate the extensive adoption of automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the technology and automation roadmap for Third-Party Risk Management and related risk functions.
• Lead projects from inception to completion, covering discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
• Analyze existing processes, identify challenges, and pinpoint opportunities for simplification prior to automation.
• Spot and deliver opportunities for workflow automation, data utilization, and artificial intelligence to decrease manual tasks and enhance decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Risk, Business Integrity, and other domain leaders to convert business needs into coherent technology requirements and solutions.
• Engage with Enterprise Architecture, Data, Cyber Security, and other tech teams to ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
• Enhance system integration and facilitate improved access to risk and third-party data, reporting, and insights.
• Oversee internal delivery teams, strategic partners, and technology vendors to guarantee quality, speed, and value.
• Establish clear success metrics across adoption, efficiency, control effectiveness, user experience, and business results.
• Facilitate the transition of new capabilities into sustainable operational practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading business technology, digital transformation, application development, or automation projects from concept to execution.
• Strong aptitude for comprehending business processes and translating complex challenges into actionable technology solutions.
• Experience in risk, compliance, third-party management, procurement, or similar control-oriented business areas.

Essential Skills:

• Deep understanding of workflow automation, enterprise applications, integrations, and data management.
• Practical knowledge of artificial intelligence and emerging automation technologies, with a focus on their responsible application in business processes.
• Experience collaborating with architecture, security, data, and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive enterprise solutions.
