About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving client acquisition, nurturing long-term business relationships, and expanding the firms presence across targeted industries. This role blends sales strategy, client management, and market insight to generate sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and target potential clients (corporates, SMEs, startups) across industries for recruitment partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.
Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue and client acquisition goals.
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and other business channels.
- Collaborate with recruitment consultants to deliver high-quality, end-to-end hiring solutions
Market Research & Insights
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging sectors to identify business opportunities.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of recruitment trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring challenges across industries.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of client requirements.
- Prepare and maintain weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, client pipeline, and key metrics.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within recruitment, staffing, or HR consulting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Good understanding of hiring processes, job markets, and industry-specific recruitment trends.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 1 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management preferably in the recruitment or HR services domain.
