Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to help position the company effectively in the marketplace.
- Develop strategies to target new and existing customer segments to drive growth and maximize opportunities.
- Lead Generation & Sales Strategy:
- Identify and qualify new leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, trade shows, and digital marketing.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion of leads into clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business objectives.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Engage with decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Proposals & Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and bids that effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, project management, etc.) to prepare accurate and competitive proposals for clients.
- Negotiations & Closing Deals:
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the company.
- Close sales deals, ensuring contracts are signed and that all contractual obligations are clearly understood.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve the company's offerings and overall customer experience.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on business development progress, sales performance, and market trends to management.
- Assist in forecasting sales and setting targets for future business development efforts.
- Networking & Brand Promotion:
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking functions to increase visibility and promote the company's services.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values, services, and industry reputation in all interactions with potential clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- MBA or additional certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within [industry sector].
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in managing the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Strong knowledge of the market and competition in [specific industry].
