Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy and market analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, analyze competitors, and stay updated on industry trends to develop strategic growth plans. 
  • Lead generation and prospecting: Generate new leads through networking, cold outreach, and other channels to build a pipeline of potential clients. 
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. 
  • Sales and negotiation: Develop compelling business proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure new business and revenue. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to align on strategies and ensure customer requirements are met. 
  • Performance monitoring: Track key metrics, evaluate performance against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management. 
  • Partnership development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with other organizations to expand market reach and offerings. 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience: Several years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role are necessary.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other market research tools is crucial.
