Business Development Executive/Manager - (Zoho/SaaS & AI)
Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive/Manager with proven experience in Client Acquisition for Zoho Implementation Consulting or broader SaaS and AI Implementation Consulting Services/IT Services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new clients across both Indian and global markets. This position demands a deep understanding of SaaS platforms (preferably Zoho), strong consultative selling abilities, and strategic business development acumen.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales within the SaaS or Zoho implementation consulting domain.
- Strong understanding of Zoho products (CRM, Creator, Books, etc.) or similar SaaS platforms and their implementation processes.
- Demonstrated ability in consultative and solution-based selling to Funded Startups, mid-size, and enterprise clients.
- Experience handling both Indian and global markets (especially US, UK, Middle East, or APAC) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively at decision-making levels.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or any modern sales CRM tools.
- Comfortable working with technology-oriented services and platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields (MBA is a plus).
- Pre-requisite: Candidate must have a functioning laptop, high-speed internet & noise cancellation headsets.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for Zoho or SaaS implementation consulting projects across India and global markets.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads through various channels including cold outreach, networking, digital campaigns, and strategic partnerships.
- Understand client requirements comprehensively and effectively position tailored implementation services to address their specific business needs.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to create compelling, customized proposals, quotations, and pitch decks.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups, updates, and deal closures using CRM tools.
- Analyze industry trends, market needs, and competitor offerings to continuously refine outreach and positioning strategies.
- Establish strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and secure valuable referrals.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover and foster high client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
