Business Analytics Senior Analyst - HIH - Evernorth

• Understand business requirements from business leaders, users, and/or analystsUnderstand and analyse current systems and develop programs matching the requirements
• Unit Test the developed/modified process to ensure the requirements are met
• Analyze software programs and optimize (operational, performance, and cost) wherever possible
• Build automations on recurring jobs and schedule jobs to avoid manual intervention and to improve performance
• Troubleshoot problems and arrive at resolution Work with users to help them with system understanding
• Review the solution with users to make sure UAT criteria are met
• Coordinate with onshore for daily handover-takeoverIdentify opportunities and drive process improvements
• Take accountability for the process/tasks owned by self

• Required EducationBachelor s degree in related technical areas either Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field 5-8 years of work experienceExperience working in an onshore/offshore model
• Proven experience with development of application solutionsTechnology/Domain certifications such as Python, SAS, AWS, PAHM
• Demonstrated ability to automate processes with quantifiable and measurable before/after results

Technical Requirements

• Ability to hear and translate ideas into self-built functional designs with complementary technical details that support scale and require minimal maintenance
•  4+ years of experience building reports leveraging business intelligence reporting capabilities - i.e. Tableau with demonstrated stories of how the business has acted against insights
• Strong programming skills - SAS, Python, SQL
• Familiarity with most of the following technologies- Tableau, Excel Macros, TOAD, Databricks

Desired Experience and Skills

• US healthcare analytics and claims-related experience, reimbursement methodologies, and medical terminology (CPT, Dx, ICD10, HCPCS, Rev Codes, etc.)
• Exposure to Cloud technologies such as AWS, Databricks
