BMS Manager (Hyperscale Data Center)

We are in search of candidates with relevant experience in overseeing comprehensive airport operations for the Airport Operation Control Center to lead our Data Center operations. We are looking for a Manager to enhance our data center performance. This role involves monitoring facility alarms, generating tickets and notifications for critical infrastructure, and managing a global team for round-the-clock operations. The ideal candidate must possess experience in recruiting and training staff members.

• Lead a team of Data Centre Technicians, focusing on personnel management, performance evaluation, and shift rotation.
• Develop and strengthen a local team in Kulai, Johor dedicated to providing world-class support and effective management of service level agreements.
• Work alongside Critical Operations Facility managers to establish and document new policies and procedures.
• Oversee Data Centre facilities, including monitoring temperature, humidity, smoke detection, fire suppression systems, and UPS units through BMS/DCIM Systems.
• Efficiently track and address open customer support tickets, ensuring timely communication with customers.
• Guarantee effective management of 24x7 Data Centre Operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to optimize workflows and throughput within Data Centre Operations.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Manage large-scale events and engage in Data Centre issue escalations.
• Ensure compliance of the Data Centre with applicable security policies and procedures.
• Prepare and submit regular reports for analysis and issue resolution support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• The candidate must be open to working in Sedenak, Johor
