Key Responsibilities

BI Dashboard & Report Development

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards based on business requirements
• Create interactive and visually effective data visualizations for decision-making
• Deliver end-to-end BI solutions aligned with business needs

Data Modeling & ETL Development

• Design and implement optimized data models for BI reporting
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and related tools
• Ensure efficient data flow and transformation for analytics workloads

SQL & Data Handling

• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL
• Support data warehousing and structured data modeling practices

Power BI Development & Optimization

• Use Power BI tools including Power Query, DAX, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Service
• Optimize report performance and ensure scalability of dashboards
• Apply best practices in data visualization and dashboard design

Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering

• Work closely with business users and analysts to gather and analyze requirements
• Translate business needs into technical BI solutions
• Prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality BI outputs

Data Quality & Governance

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of BI solutions
• Implement QA best practices for dashboards and datasets
• Maintain documentation for BI models, reports, and processes

Training & Documentation

• Provide training and support to end-users on BI dashboards
• Create detailed documentation for BI solutions and workflows
• Ensure knowledge sharing across teams

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay updated with BI tools, trends, and best practices
• Recommend improvements in BI architecture and reporting solutions
• Explore additional BI tools where required (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
