Roles & Responsibilities

Base24 EPS Development

• Work on Base24 EPS switch development, including configuration mapping, mandate handling, and switch updates.
• Maintain and enhance payment switching systems for transaction processing.

System-Level Programming

• Develop and optimize applications using C/C++ on Linux.
• Work with multithreading, sockets, IPC, and system-level programming concepts.

Payments Domain Expertise

• Understand ISO8583 messaging standards and EMV card processing flows.
• Work with card schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, and Pulse.
• Handle secure payment processing including HSM key management and encryption workflows.

Platform & Infrastructure Support

• Work on HP NonStop (Tandem) systems in switch-based environments.
• Support transaction processing infrastructure for high-availability systems.

Testing & Debugging

• Perform debugging using tools like GDB.
• Work with simulators such as EMSEVENTS, PATHWAYS, BATCHJOBS, ASSEFT.
• Ensure system reliability through diagnostic and automation scripts.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop automation or diagnostic scripts using Python or Shell scripting.

Version Control & Agile Practices

• Use Git / GitHub / Bitbucket for version control.
• Work in Agile development environments with iterative delivery cycles.

Integration & POS Systems (Optional)

• Understand POS ecosystems such as Ingenico, Verifone, Android POS.
• Work on merchant acquiring flows, DCC, and ECR integrations.
