Azure Kubernetes Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead the analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Design enterprise-class architectures considering performance, usability, scalability, security, maintainability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develop solution blueprints, architecture roadmaps, and technical design documents.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design principles, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and industry-standard solution frameworks.

Azure Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Architect solutions leveraging Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Azure AD, Azure Logic Apps, Azure CDN, Azure Storage Queues, Azure SQL, Azure Networking, and Azure Virtual Machines.
• Establish cloud governance, security, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Drive cloud adoption and application modernization initiatives.

Application Development & Modernization

• Provide architectural leadership for .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern web application development projects.
• Guide development teams in implementing scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and development best practices.
• Support application transformation and migration to cloud-native architectures.

DevOps & CI/CD Enablement

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related automation tools.
• Promote DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment automation.
• Improve software delivery processes, release management, and operational efficiency.
• Establish continuous integration, testing, and deployment standards.

Containerization & Kubernetes

• Architect and support containerized application deployments.
• Design and manage Kubernetes-based solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement container orchestration, scalability, monitoring, and high-availability strategies.
• Support cloud platform modernization using container technologies.

Database & Integration Architecture

• Design data models and database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Oversee development of stored procedures, database artifacts, and data integration solutions.
• Architect enterprise integrations using APIs, messaging services, workflow solutions, and service-based architectures.
• Ensure data security, performance, and reliability across systems.

Technology Leadership

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical governance processes.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance across projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership.

Planning & Governance

• Assess architecture alternatives and estimate business and financial impacts.
• Define technology standards, architectural principles, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and operational requirements.
• Support strategic planning and enterprise technology roadmaps.
