Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• This position demands a high level of technical expertise in Azure's compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and governance services, along with the capability to collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to maintain a resilient, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environment.
• The Azure Engineer is vital for facilitating cloud adoption, supporting infrastructure modernization efforts, and ensuring the overall health and stability of the organization's Azure ecosystem.
• Maintain the health and stability of cloud services through proactive monitoring, Terraform-based infrastructure management, Azure platform administration, and the effective provision of cloud infrastructure solutions that allow business and application teams to function securely and efficiently.
• Deliver crucial operational support for Azure-hosted services, guaranteeing the reliability, availability, and performance of essential business platforms.
• Taking complete ownership of these responsibilities will lead to enhanced incident resolution times, reduced service risks, and lower chances of business disruptions.
• Tasked with identifying, prioritizing, and resolving security issues within the Azure environment, thereby minimizing organizational risk and ensuring adherence to security and regulatory standards.
• Facilitates critical project execution, backs enterprise initiatives, and ensures that Azure services remain secure, optimized, and aligned with business goals.

Technical Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure technologies, including but not limited to backup and restore, ASR, Network NSG troubleshooting, and operational logging.
• Experience in designing Azure networks, including NSG, Gateway Firewalls, Subnets, and VNets.
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure security constructs.
• Proven experience in supporting production deployments on Azure.
• Proficient in Azure coding technologies such as CLI, PowerShell, and ARM.
• Experience with Terraform deployments utilizing Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Collaborative experience working with teams to deliver comprehensive Azure solutions across security operations, engineering, and application teams.
• Must hold an Azure Administrator Certification.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in software support or development.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Must possess an Azure Architect Certification.
