Azure DevOps

Job Overview:

• We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Administrator to oversee configuration and support for the Azure DevOps platform throughout our organization.
• The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in areas such as Azure DevOps administration, user and access management, repository governance, CI/CD platform support, security protocols, and process standardization.

Primary Duties:

• Administer and sustain Azure DevOps Services projects, repositories, pipelines, and agent pools.
• Control user access permissions, security groups, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Set up and manage Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
• Assist development teams with the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee both self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build and release agents.
• Enforce governance, compliance, and security best practices across the DevOps platform.
• Configure project templates, branch policies, pull request workflows, and repository standards.
• Monitor the health, usage, and performance of the platform.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.
• Conduct platform upgrades, maintenance, audits, and access reviews.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Azure DevOps-related issues.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in Azure DevOps Administration.
• Expert knowledge of Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience in managing build agents, service connections, and deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of Git branching strategies and repository management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) integration and access management.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting pipeline permissions and integration challenges.
• Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and security compliance practices.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.
• Certifications Preferred
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
