Azure DevOps

Job Overview:

• We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Administrator to oversee, configure, and provide support for the Azure DevOps platform within our organization.
• The perfect candidate will possess strong skills in Azure DevOps administration, user and access management, repository governance, CI/CD platform support, security protocols, and process standardization.

Core Duties:

• Administer and sustain Azure DevOps Services projects, repositories, pipelines, and agent pools.
• Control user access permissions, security groups, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Set up and manage Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
• Assist development teams in establishing, troubleshooting, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build and release agents.
• Enforce governance, compliance, and security best practices throughout the DevOps platform.
• Configure project templates, branch policies, pull request workflows, and repository standards.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and performance metrics.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.
• Conduct platform upgrades, maintenance, audits, and access reviews.
• Create and update operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for issues related to Azure DevOps.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience managing build agents, service connections, and deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of Git branching strategies and repository management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and industry best practices in DevOps.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Entra ID integration and access management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure components.
• Experience troubleshooting pipeline permissions and integration challenges.
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and security compliance measures.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies.
• Preferred certifications include:
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
