Azure DevOps

Job Overview:

• We are on the lookout for a skilled Azure DevOps Administrator to oversee, configure, and support the Azure DevOps platform throughout our organization.
• The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps administration, user and access management, repository governance, CI/CD platform support, security, and process standardization.

Primary Duties:

• Administer and sustain Azure DevOps Services projects, repositories, pipelines, and agent pools.
• Oversee user access permissions, security groups, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Configure and manage Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.
• Assist development teams with CI/CD pipeline configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement.
• Manage both self-hosted and Microsoft-hosted build and release agents.
• Implement governance, compliance, and security best practices across the DevOps platform.
• Establish project templates, branch policies, pull request workflows, and repository standards.
• Monitor platform health, usage, and performance metrics.
• Integrate Azure DevOps with Azure Cloud, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and other enterprise tools.
• Conduct platform upgrades, maintenance, audits, and access reviews.
• Create and update operational documentation, including SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for issues related to Azure DevOps.

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience in Azure DevOps Administration.
• Proficient in Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
• Experience in managing build agents, service connections, and deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of Git branching strategies and repository management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) integration and access management.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting.
• Understanding of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience in resolving pipeline permissions and integration issues.
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Awareness of DevSecOps and security compliance methodologies.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum project management frameworks.
• Preferred Certifications:
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
