Azure Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee, monitor, and provide support for Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Provision and manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking components, and Resource Groups.
• Set up and administer Azure Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute connections.
• Establish and sustain identity and access management utilizing Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for cloud environment monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, availability, and security challenges across Azure services.
• Develop and implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline integrations using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Ensure adherence to cloud security compliance through Defender for Cloud security policies and the remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Conduct capacity planning, cost optimization, and resource utilization assessments.
• Collaborate with application security and infrastructure teams on cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Engage in incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
• Prepare operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cloud architecture diagrams.

Technical Requirements:

• Expertise in Cloud Platform Azure and Networking Services.
