Primary Skills

Lead hands-on design and validation of cloud architectures across Azures core services, with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, disaster recovery, and compliance

Convert complex business and security requirements into clear, actionable cloud architecture designs

Create, update, and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation to guide engineers and stakeholders

Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, including policies, RBAC, tagging standards, cost controls, and compliance guardrails

Provide architectural oversight for cloud deployments by directly reviewing and validating configurations to confirm designs are implemented correctly and consistently

Own the Azure cost optimization practice, including reserved instance and savings plan strategy, chargeback tagging models, and ongoing FinOps governance

Demonstrate deep expertise across Microsoft Azure core services spanning networking, compute, storage, identity, databases, monitoring, and security

Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience using Azure native IaC and automation tooling, including ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions

Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership, project teams, and enterprise client stakeholders on architecture and best practices

Around 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud architecture roles; Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent preferred

Good hands on in implementing AI Agentic based use cases

Secondary Skills

Partner with DevSecOps engineers, application engineers, and business stakeholders to support solution delivery

Embed automation and integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines

Promote Azure best practices and remain current with platform roadmap updates

Support audit, security, and compliance reviews by providing architecture-level input

Contribute to technical vendor tool evaluations for the cloud platform
