AWS Network Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and oversee AWS network infrastructure across diverse environments to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Configure and sustain Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, Transit Gateways, and VPC Peering connections.
• Establish secure links between on-premises data centers and AWS cloud using VPN, AWS Direct Connect, and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot load balancing services including Application Load Balancer (ALB), Network Load Balancer (NLB), Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), along with DNS management via Route 53.
• Configure and enforce network security controls such as Security Groups, Network Access Control Lists (NACLs), AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF), and AWS Shield.
• Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and latency utilizing CloudWatch and other networking tools to ensure reliability.
• Support network automation initiatives leveraging Terraform, Python, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Conduct network troubleshooting, packet analysis, and root cause investigations to resolve issues effectively.
• Ensure network architecture aligns with security standards, compliance requirements, and high-availability benchmarks.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Cloud Platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Strong background in DevOps practices and automation
• Knowledge of Networking concepts including Routing and Switching

Desired Skills:

• DevOps expertise within AWS environments
• Networking specialization with routing and switching fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation
