Aws Developer

Core Responsibilities:

• Redshift Engineer
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing, with a strong focus on Amazon Redshift
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Redshift data warehouses to fulfill enterprise analytics and reporting requirements
• Create and implement Dimensional Data Models in a Star Schema format, including fact and dimension tables for analytical tasks
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot intricate SQL queries for large-scale data processing and performance enhancement
• Design and oversee ETL and ELT pipelines utilizing AWS Glue along with other data integration solutions
• Enhance Redshift performance through strategic use of RA3 nodes, Distribution Keys, Sort Keys, and Redshift Spectrum
• Consolidate data from various sources such as S3, PostgreSQL, APIs, and third-party applications into the data warehouse
• Work collaboratively with Data Architects, Analysts, and Business stakeholders to provide scalable and effective data solutions
• Ensure the governance, security, and compliance of data quality across the AWS data ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and familiarity with Python and PySpark
