AWS Data Engineer

Job Overview:

• Extensive hands-on experience in AWS Data Engineering within large-scale cloud data environments.
• Proficient in AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Lake Formation, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Robust experience in real-time and streaming data processing utilizing Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Firehose, Kinesis Analytics, Amazon Kafka, or similar streaming solutions.
• Strong coding skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with a focus on optimization techniques.
• Experience in constructing high-volume, low-latency data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of Databricks Delta Lake, Structured Streaming, and Spark Performance Tuning.
• Expertise in managing TB to PB scale datasets, including partitioning strategies, file optimization, schema evolution, and data lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Modern Data Platform architectures.
• Hands-on data modeling experience tailored for analytical, operational, and reporting purposes.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities for production challenges, performance optimization, and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, stakeholder management, and problem resolution.

• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will delve into client challenges, identify problem areas, design innovative solutions, and oversee deployment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• You will take ownership of parts of the proposal document, contributing to solution design in your areas of expertise.
• You will organize configuration activities, set up the product according to the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in addressing any questions related to requirements and solution design.
• You will facilitate solution product demonstrations, POC (Proof of Concept) workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budget constraints and organizational financial policies.
• Lead small projects actively and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to clients.
