Automation Testing Lead

Main Responsibilities:

• Direct QA strategy and implementation across projects, ensuring comprehensive automated testing coverage and readiness for release.
• Design, develop, and sustain Java-based Selenium automation frameworks that align with industry best practices and future scalability.
• Establish test plans, test cases, and automation suites for functional regression and smoke testing across various applications.
• Examine automation code, uphold quality standards, and drive enhancements in test design, stability, and execution speed.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and product teams to clarify requirements, identify potential risks early, and ensure features are testable.
• Analyze test outcomes, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clear defect reports complete with reproducible steps and supporting evidence.
• Guide and mentor QA engineers, aiding in skill development, task planning, and consistent team delivery.
• Monitor quality metrics and promptly communicate status updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading QA teams or serving as a test automation lead across multiple release cycles.
• Deep knowledge in creating reusable automation components, utilizing design patterns, and enhancing framework maintainability.
• Experience with test execution and reporting methodologies that enhance visibility and decision-making for releases.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities with the capacity to influence quality outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with performance and API testing concepts, as well as integrating automation within modern delivery pipelines.
