Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright automation testing for enterprise banking applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using POM/Hybrid frameworks
• Execute cross-browser and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams
• Identify, track, and report defects using Jira
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure quality standards across application releases

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation
• Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in Selenium automation testing
• Experience in API Testing using Postman or RestAssured
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with TestNG/Cucumber frameworks
• Strong debugging and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

• Banking or financial domain experience
• SQL/database validation knowledge
• Cross-browser testing experience
• Exposure to Agile methodology
• Experience with Appium/mobile automation is an added advantage
