Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with software design teams to discuss verification protocols and test requirements.
• Identify weaknesses and target areas in software applications.
• Design and implement automated software test procedures.
• Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas.
• Write automation scripts and implement software applications.
• Design and install software databases.
• Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures.
• Identify quality issues and create detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve application faults.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Experience & Requirements:

• 6–8 years of experience in QA Automation, with a focus on UI automation.
• Expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, BDD, etc.
• Experience with UI Testing, Automated Testing, and API automation.
• Proficiency in Javascript; basic knowledge of Java and Python preferred.
• Knowledge of web security technologies, software QA tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
