Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 3-6 years of QA experience, 1+ year in Selenium and Cucumber to join our QA team
- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables in an agile development environment
- Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing using Selenium and Cucumber
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure quality and functionality
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals
- Perform detailed analysis of test results, report issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
- Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved efficiency and reliability
- Stay updated on the latest automation tools and technologies to ensure continuous improvement in QA processes
- Required Skills and Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in QA, 3+ years Automation experience with strong expertise in Selenium and Cucumber
- Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or equivalent
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, Agile processes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with tools like Git for version control and Jenkins or similar for CI/CD integration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and writing Gherkin scripts
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and cross-browser testing tools
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
