Automation QA Consultant

Job Summary:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and development, with a focus on test automation.
• 3+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with test automation tools Playwright, Test Complete, Selenium and Appium.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems GitHub and issue tracking tools JIRA
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for complex applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, End-to-End testing, regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality are considered early in the development process.
• Mentor junior SDETs and guide best practices for software testing and development.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the software delivery process.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing
