AutoCAD Engineer / Design Engineer - Fire Protection Systems

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer / Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings for various fire protection systems such as fire hydrants, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and smoke detectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings based on fire protection project requirements
• Read and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural layouts
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams to modify and update designs
• Maintain drawing logs, revision records, and documentation registers
• Ensure all drawings comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specs

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
• 23 years of drafting experience in MEP, piping, or fire protection systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D (Revit knowledge is an added advantage)
• Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans
• Good communication and coordination skills
