Job Summary:

The Auditorium & Seminar Hall In-charge will play a crucial role in the comprehensive management, maintenance, and efficient operation of the university's auditorium and seminar halls. This position is essential for ensuring that all facilities are operational, well-maintained, and ready for academic, cultural, and institutional functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the daily activities of the auditorium and seminar halls.

2. Ensure the proper operation and upkeep of all technical equipment, including sound systems, projectors, lighting, and audio-visual aids.

3. Arrange venues according to event specifications (seating layouts, equipment arrangements, etc.).

4. Liaise with various departments regarding event timelines, needs, and logistics.

5. Manage booking schedules and confirm that halls are utilized only with appropriate authorizations.

6. Provide on-site technical assistance during events and promptly address any issues that arise.

7. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the facilities.

8. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the condition of equipment and infrastructure.

9. Supervise the halls outside of operational hours to ensure security and prevent misuse or damage.

10. Assist in the planning and execution of institutional events within these venues.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in any field.

1. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, scheduling software, etc.).

2. Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and technical setups.

3. Strong coordination and communication abilities.

4. Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work during events.

5. Problem-solving skills for addressing technical challenges.

Experience:

2–5 years of relevant experience in facility management, event support, or technical operations
