Audio validation Engineer

Position Summary: The person in position will be responsible for designing & driving the test strategy for HARMAN s SW technologies & framework with a strong focus on the test automation. Test execution and development, update & maintainance of new test scripts is part of the key responsibilities as well.

Job Responsibilities:

• Automation strategy development for API validation, Overall System validation and Software level Validation.
• Automation framework concept development for SW technologies & framework
• Provide architectural and technical leadership on developing Automotive Framework.
• Develop and maintain test scripts in Python.
• Development and udpate tools for test automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Tests software designs and code to ensure automated tests meet program requirements.
• Documentation according to HARMAN s SW development processes
• Audio quality testing for Harman audio solutions
• Close collaboration between DSP and technology team

Preferred Qualifications :

• Total 8-10 years of experience in SW domain with at least 5 years of experience in audio processing technologies, white & black box testing
• Deep understanding of Audio technologies
• Very Proficient to analyze requirements and develop requirement driven test cases
• Strong OOPS concepts and 5+ years of coding experience in C++ and Python. Usage of Matlab and audio APIs in Python
• Experience with Test Complete tool or any equivalent for automaton
• Experience with Test management tools, Test Automation tools, and Project Management tools
• Experience in using audio precission tool preferred
• Good experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence
• Ability to analyse audio signals using different tools
• Ability to understand audio technologies and create/guide test plan to perform efficient algorithm testing
• Clear global communication and inter cultural communication
