Job Description
- Engage with Business Customers and Stakeholders
- Achieve a tangible decrease in endpoint vulnerabilities and recurring incidents through automated remediation efforts
- Collaborate with Security EUCWorkspace Service Management and Operations to prioritize remediation use cases that have a significant impact
- Facilitate quicker recovery and minimize user disruption by deploying targeted self-healing measures
- Offer comprehensive reporting on remediation results, including coverage, success/failure rates, time to remediate, and risk reduction
- Assist in fulfilling audit and compliance requirements with traceable change records and proof of execution
- B Internal Operational Duties
- Create effective PowerShell scripts for detection, remediation, rollback, and post-remediation validation
- Sign scripts and oversee secure script execution controls in accordance with enterprise policies
- Develop and sustain Aternity runbooks focusing on logic, phased rollouts, and scheduling
- Implement controlled deployments, including pilot, canary, and global monitoring of runtime outcomes, while optimizing based on telemetry
- Diagnose failed remediations and uphold reusable script/runbook standards
- Maintain version control of documentation and operational playbooks to ensure support continuity
- C Risk Governance and Controls
- Adhere to secure coding and change governance protocols
- Ensure scripts are idempotent, logged, and capable of rollback
- Verify compatibility across various device types, OS versions, and user contexts
- Resolve reporting discrepancies across tools and dashboards as necessary
- Support secure authentication methods for automation integrations, including OAuth 2.0 token-based flows
- Functional Knowledge
- Proficient in advanced PowerShell scripting within enterprise settings
- Practical experience with script signing and execution policy governance
- Deep understanding of endpoint remediation patterns, including registry, services, files, processes, and application lifecycle
- Experience with controlled enterprise deployment methodologies, including pilot, phased rollout, rollback, and validation
- Strong problem-solving and operational support skills for endpoint automation
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 client credentials, access tokens, refresh patterns, and API authentication handling
- Hands-on experience with Aternity, including runbooks, workflows, actions, telemetry, and dashboarding
- Experience in integrating automation scripts with authenticated APIs
- Exposure to vulnerability remediation and patch compliance initiatives
- Familiarity with MECM, Intune, or comparable endpoint management tools
- Basic exposure to macOS scripting and remediation
