We are seeking an Assurance Supervisor 1 - Capital Markets to lead our assurance team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets and will be responsible for supervising audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the assurance team in executing capital markets audits and reviews.
• Assist in the planning and execution of audits related to capital markets transactions.
• Review work papers and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement or risk.
• Prepare and present reports on audit findings to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in audit, assurance, or a related field, preferably within capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets operations, products, and regulations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and audit methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
