Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutioning
- Gain working knowledge of technologies such as Firewall, SASE/SSE, IPS/IDS, WAF, and Load Balancers
- Configure the above-mentioned devices in the customer environment as per the defined scope
- Build and execute test cases to validate configurations
- Assist in the setup of devices in production environments
- Troubleshoot issues related to products/devices in both pre- and post-production environments
- Contribute to documentation including SOPs, test reports, configuration guides, and implementation plans
- Follow project guidelines and maintain delivery timelines
- Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive technical and non-technical environment
- Ensure a good level of customer satisfaction and actively contribute to its improvement
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent)
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in configuration, validation, and troubleshooting of various network security products
- Strong technical knowledge of any or all of the following technologies:
- NGFW Platforms: Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, FortiGate, Check Point
- IPS/IDS Platforms: Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, FortiGate, Tipping Point
- WAF Platforms: Imperva, F5, FortiWeb
- Load Balancer Platforms: F5, Citrix, FortiADC
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Certifications:
- Cisco: CCNA, CCNP (Security)
- Palo Alto: PCNSA, PCNSE
- Fortinet: NSE-1, NSE-2, NSE-3, NSE-4
- F5: F5 Certified Administrator
