Job Summary

We are in search of a skilled Workday Finance Functional Consultant to spearhead finance transformation projects by engaging in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder collaboration.

Job Description

Serve as the lead Functional Consultant for the implementation and enhancement of Workday Financials. Conduct requirement gathering sessions and perform fit-gap analyses with business stakeholders. Convert business needs into effective Workday Finance solutions and functional designs. Configure and support Workday Financial modules and corresponding business processes. Collaborate with teams across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT to guarantee successful solution delivery. Assist in data validation testing, system integration testing (SIT), defect resolution, and deployment activities. Create functional specifications, process flows, and user documentation. Provide support following go-live and promote continuous process improvements. Ensure alignment with financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards. Utilize comprehensive functional expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, Expenses, Asset Management, and Financial Reporting. Leverage your experience in Workday Financial Management configuration and integrations. Apply your knowledge of finance and accounting processes, requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder engagement. Exhibit outstanding communication and business consulting skills. Workday Financials certification is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end Workday Financials implementations and enhancement initiatives as the primary Functional Consultant.

Facilitate workshops for gathering and analyzing business requirements while conducting fit-gap analysis.

Design and configure Workday Financial modules to meet business requirements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT.

Manage various testing phases, including data validation, SIT, UAT, and support defect resolution processes.

Create and maintain detailed functional documentation and process flows.

Deliver ongoing support post-implementation and identify opportunities for process enhancement.

Ensure all solutions comply with financial control standards and reporting requirements.

Engage actively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide effective financial system solutions.
